GroupCalendar - who has it?
Well, after yesterday's glorious Kara attempt it became clear that we need something that helps us to organize raids/heroics/whatever. A very useful tool for this is the GroupCalendar addon (download: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5539-GroupCalendar.html).
IMPORTANT! The GroupCalendar has a new version, namely the 4.0. This udated version IS NOT communicating with previous versions! Please update your addon asap! The link above takes you to the download page of the new version.
It would be real nice if every lvl 60+ or at least every lvl 70 ppl'd install it. I'd like to post here who has the addon and will help you with the addon setup and usage in game if there are any problems.

a quick guide to set it correctly
I think many of you have downloaded the addon but it is not yet set up correctly. So here we go, this is a quick overview of the GroupCalendar setup.
1. Be sure that the addon is installed correctly and ready to work. You can do this by clicking on the Addons button on the character selection screen and look for something like this:
2. Enter the world and check your minimap. There must be a new clock where the day/night icon was.
3. Click on it and the main window of the addon will appear. It has 3 tabs: Calendar, Setup and About.
4. Now go to Setup. Set configuration to Manual and tick Use guild data channel.
After this set Minimum rank to show to the lowest in guild so you can see every possible event, no matter who posted it. Click on Apply and we are finished.

Re: GroupCalendar - who has it?
I see that a few ppl download and start using the addon each day but they don't sign up for the events. Why is that?

Re: GroupCalendar - who has it?
Solavel: If you don't see any event at all then maybe the addon is not set up properly. If it is set up then give it 5 mins to get synchronized with the data channel (this 5 mins also needed if you log in). If you still don't see any event then go to the About tab and click on rebuild database, hope it will solve the problem. If you have other alts who are in different guild/no guild that may cause some problems too if you tried set up the GroupCalendar with one of those toons.
On a sidenote: you will not see events with lvl range outside your level eg. a lvl 17 toon won't see an event which was created that only lvl 70 characters can attend and vice versa.

Creating and event
Ok, Faythless is right, perhaps some ppl don't know how to post and sign up for events. So here we go again and try to do a step-by-step overview on creating an event and signing up for one too.
1. Open the GroupCalendar addon by clicking on the analog watch by the minimap. You should see the Calendar tab by default and maybe there are some interesting pictures on it too.
Those pictures represent events.
2. Say, you want to post your own event. You have to choose a date and click on it. The GroupCalendar opens a sidebar which looks like this:
3. Click on the New Event... button on the bottom and you will end up on the Add/Edit Event window. Here you can select the type of the event, choose the starting time and duration, set the min-max level range and provide a short description.
If you finished, tick <your name> will attend and click Done. The event is created but the addon needs 5 mins to announce it on the data channel. On the Calendar tab the icon of the event appears and a blue circle appears around the number of the day reminding you that you have signed up for an event.
If you want to sign up for an event someone else created you should open the Calendar and click on the icon representing the event. You should see something like on picture 2. Click on the event name (Test event in that case) and on the following screen you will see 2 options: <your name> will attend and <your name> will not attend. Tick one and click on Done. You have signed up for the event or signed that you won't be attending.
