Life has dealt us another kick in the nuts...cheers mym, not so much as a "fuck you lot i'm off" and hes gone for a nice easy boost through Kara. maybe its time to stop inviting people at a high level cause they cant be trusted, and we rely to much on these people for our progression.
i think we should stick to "home grown" talent, as i for one am fed up of being let down by these people.

yeah after what happened, i can only agree with you frozen.....even if it'll take more time to start up raiding with "homegrown" talent.....it will be better in the long run, as ppl will be able to identify them with the guild and are willing to take part in helping the guild progress.

Well, as far as I know he was a healer, and not a bad one. But I never got really into him and his thinking.

dunno why he left, but i can guess... we were not progressing fast enough for him so he joined a guild already farming kara, or whatever.
its these impatient players joining then leaving that is slowing our progress i'm afraid
so i think that those of you who are in for the long haul should think about my "useful alt" policy, i currently have a tank and dps and im working on a healer, i hope that true LOD'ers would do the same and have at least 2, either tank/dps or healer/dps as i think this is the only way we can assure steady progression. while i realise i will take time, take into concideration The Wrath of The Lich King expansion, when this comes out we will have a lvl grind from 70-80 then we can start raiding again from scratch. By this time we could all possibly have our "useful alts" ready. so its the big picture im looking at not just the immideate future.

I almost reached 70 with my protection Paladin.if i have no other things to do i might conside lvl my druid as well.He is feral 45 but ill switch him to resto.I dont think i will need 2 Tanks!!!!!!

i got my pally but its ret/prot now for pvp and such

the thing that matters the most here, is that we, who are true LoD'ers stays and support eachother.
we dont need mym! or snola!
we're gonna manage, yes, we need time.
but i speak for very many persons in this guild when i say that we arent here for the raids, we are here caus he love this guild and we are all friends.
its worth a hell of a lot more then gear and tons of instances.
ofc instances are fun, so are gears!
but we'll get there!

I totally agree with moniwa, im not particularly here for the raiding but for the nice guys and gals @ LoD. On the other hand I am resto and I am happy to help out when and where needed

Well, on the useful alt front I have made the switch to prot for the moment to see how it feels, since the guild has a need for tanks - got 444 def at the moment so still a way to go until Kara tanking I'm afraid , also my lvl66 holy priest alt is leveling slowly when I'm not doing dailies...

nice one langston, tank and priest healer is just what we need

and i have my holy priest as well, only lvl 32 and i level him when rested with instances its fast and something to do when i am bored of my rogue
